Pittsburgh, PA- The Alfred State Women's Soccer team fell to La Roche in a hard-fought match today, 1-0. The Pioneer's record is now 4-8-3, as they get ready to play their last conference game next weekend.

The first half of the match-up was a scoreless half, both teams battling to find the back of the net. The Pioneers took nine shots on goal in today's game, struggling to get one to hit the back net. The Redhawks managed to score on the Pioneers in the 71
st minute. Although La Roche was able to score at the end of the second half,
Kate Sproul tallied four saves in the Pio net.

ASC is back on their home turf next weekend as they take on their last conference match-up against Pitt-Greensburg, kick off set for 4:30 pm.
