Alfred, NY- The Alfred State women's soccer team lost a hard-fought match-up against Penn State Behrend, 6-0. The Pioneers fall to 4-7-3 on the season and 2-2-2 in conference play.
After a scoreless first 22 minutes, the Lions broke the tie with back-to-back goals and never looked back. Behrend controlled possession 65% of the time as they went on to win 6-0.
Kate Sproul tallied six saves on the night. The Pioneers will hit the road Saturday as they take on La Roche at 3:15 pm.
