Alfred, NY- The Alfred State women's soccer team took down Carlow 6-2 on senior day. The Pioneers moves to 4-6-3 on the season and 2-1-2 in conference play.

Karlee Hargather opened the game with a goal in the 2^nd minute off a Vic Stuck pass. Hargather returned the favor in the 16^th minute, as she found Stuck in the box for a goal and the 2-0 lead. A few minutes later, Madison Kice found Ainsley Pirotta streaking down the middle of the box for a goal to make it a 3-0 game. Pirotta would find the back of the net once again in the 24^th minute off a pass from Kice. Stuck would tally her second goal of the game in the 35^th minute for the 5-nil lead. Estella Watt pushed the lead to 6-0 with a free kick goal from 30 yards out.

The Celtics were able to net two goals in the second half but couldn't get any closer, as the Pioneers win 6-2. The Pioneers will be home again on Tuesday 10/15 as they take on Penn State Behrend at 6 pm.
