The Alfred State men's track and field team competed at the last chance meet hosted by Nazareth College on Friday.
The 4x200 meter relay of Zach Rudewicz-Nepokroeff (Williamsville East), Esaias Brumfield (Warners/West Genesee), Cameron Howard (Brockport) and Shawn Rosa (Middletown) finished second with a time of 1:35.74.
Rudewicz-Nepokroeff placed fourth in long jump with a mark of 6.59 meters.
Gavin Bathgate (East Rochester) took fifth in the 3000-meters in 8:55.34 which puts him at No. 6 on the Alfred State All-Time list.
Jesse Johnson (Horseheads) tied for seventh in high jump with a height of 1.79 meters.
Dylan Perlino (Holland) was ninth in shot put with 13.50 meters and was 16th in weight throw with 13.73 meters.
Rosa finished 11th in the 400-meters in 53.42.
Derek Walter (Lancaster) was 19th in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.71.
The Pioneers head to Nazareth for the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Championships (AARTFC) on March 4 and 5.
