The Alfred State wrestling team move to 9-4 overall after they split on Saturday.

The Pioneers defeated the Pennsylvania College of Technology Wildcats 31-21 but lost to the Brockport Golden Eagles 37-9.

Anthony Miraglia (Byron Bergen) won by a 3-2 decision at 149.

Sean Malenfant (Averill Park) won by Tech Fall (6:04, 13-3) at 165.

Mike Galton (Warsaw) won by tech fall (6:44, 19-4) at 174.

Tyler Pelech (Ridge) won by pin in 42 seconds at 184.

Blake Ilges (Canisteo Greenwood) won by forfeit at 197.

Nick Barrett (Avoca) won by pin in 1:46 at 285.

vs Brockport:

Galton won by pin in 3:17 at 174.

Ilges won by an 8-3 decision at 197.

The Pioneers will compete next at the NCAA Mideast Region Championships starting on Saturday, February 26.
