The Alfred State men's track and field team competed at the Utica College Blue and Orange invite on Saturday.
The Pioneers had seven Top-15 finishes and recorded five new personal records.
Zach Rudewicz-Nepokroeff (Williamsville/Williamsville East) placed fourth in the long jump (6.45 meters, 21-2) and was 15th in the 200-meters (23.88).
Gavin Bathgate (East Rochester) finished fifth in the 3000-meters with a 9:09.04 which is an eight-second personal best. Bathgate also ran a personal best in the mile with a time of 4:39.82 and placed ninth.
Dylan Perlino (Holland) placed eighth in the shot put with a new personal best of 13.52 meters (44- 4 ¼). He also took eighth in weight throw with a mark of 14.81 meters (48-7 ¼).
The 4x400-meter relay of Derek Walter (Lancaster), Brian Clark (Bethpage), Kyle Brown (Dryden) and Ethan Kuhn (Kendall) finished ninth with a time of 3:46.70.
Clark (4:55.42) and Ryan Weir (5:00.25) both recorded personal bests in the mile.
The Pioneers head to Brockport Friday, Feb. 5 for a two-day meet.
