The Alfred State men's basketball team fell 80-67 to La Roche in their road finale. 

The Redhawks led throughout and held as big as a 25-point lead before the Pioneers battled back and pulled back to with 13. The blue & gold finished the day on a 31-19 run over the last 9:43 of the game. La Roche led 33-25 at the break and led 61-36 heading into the final 10 minutes.

Ryan Gentile (Spencerport) was the lone Pioneer in double figures finishing with 18 points, 16 in the 2nd half. Donte Jones (Brooklyn Collegiate) added nine points while Brandon Gosley (Valley Stream South) chipped in eight points and nine boards.

Darrius Lawrence led La Roche with 18 points while Tyler Frederick added 16 points and seven rebounds.

The Pioneers host Franciscan tomorrow in the 2020 finale. Tip-off vs. the Barons is slated for 4 p.m.
