Pioneers Compete in Final Tune-up

The Alfred State track & field team had their final tune-up as they competed in the Geneseo May Meet.

Paul Kemsley (Lancaster) led the way with the top individual performance. He was 2nd in the discus with a toss of 43.89 m.

Jacob Drew (Corning Painted Post) was 6th in the 800 (2:00.30), Jacob Wadsworth (Dansville) was tied for 6th in the long jump (6.69 m).

Katherine O'Buckley (Queens/Francis Lewis) was 10th in the 400 hurdles (1:18.34).

A group of Pioneers will head to Southern Connecticut State on Wednesday and Thursday to compete in the ECAC Championships.
