Berry and Ruebenstahl Lead Way in Multi

Tim Berry (Midlakes) and Andrew Ruebenstahl (Washingtonville) led the Alfred State contingent at the Mike Kowal Multi hosted by Edinboro.

Berry finished the heptathlon with 3,858 points which earned him 4th place and moved him up higher on the all-time list. He was consistent on Sunday scoring 603 points in the pole vault (3.95 m), 598 points in the 1000 (3:06.95), and 574 points in the 60 hurdles (9.83). On Saturday he scored 580 points in the 60 (7.93) and 576 points in the long jump (5.95 m).

Ruebenstahl finished the eight events in 5th place with 3,701 points. He scored 631 points in the pole vault (4.05 m), 619 points in the high jump (1.64 m), and 598 points in the 60 m dash (7.87).

Cameron Howard (Brockport) finished 6th overall with 3,124 points, Derek Stein was 7th with 2,841 points, and Jesse Johnson was 8th with 2,636 points.

The multi athletes will join the rest of the team on January 18th at Houghton College
