The Alfred State volleyball team won their 7th straight and improved to 10-2 on the year with a 25-13, 25-12, 25-8 victory over Davis College on Thursday. During the win streak, the Lady Pioneers have lost only two sets.

Janae Hamilton (Ellicottville) recorded a team high 10 kills in 12 attempts (no errors). She also added four solo blocks. Kay Pfleghardt (Tioga) added six kills, nine digs, and five aces and Lera Braun (Waterloo) passed out 21 assists and had three kills.

The blue & gold have a few days off before returning to action next Wednesday vs. Elmira. The contest is slated for a 7 p.m. start at the Orvis Activities Center.
