Lady Pioneers Split a Pair on Day Two of Oswego Tournament

The Alfred State volleyball team split a pair of contests on day two of the Oswego Fall Classic. The Pioneers won the final three games to defeat Elmira 3-2 and then fell 3-0 to Hamilton.

Versus Elmira, Alfred fell 19-25 & 19-25 in the first two game but rallied to win 25-17, 32-30, and 15-13.  Lera Braun (Waterloo) led the way with 29 assists, 10 kills, and five digs while Rebecca Hanrahan (Greene) finished with 11 kills.  Mallory Eberhardt (Lyons) finished with 12 digs, Mishaya Tuttle (Campbell Savona) chipped in 10 kills, and Jess Ramsey (Tioga) added 17 digs.

Hamilton defeated Alfred 25-21, 25-17, and 25-13 in the final match of the tournament.

Braun and Hanrahan were honored by being named to the All-Tournament team.
