Zach Healy

Zach Healy enters his 2nd year as Head Coach of Alfred State’s Swimming & Diving Program in 24-25. 

2023-2024: In his first year at the helm Coach Healy led the Women’s Team to a 5-2 (.714) dual meet record, while leading the Men’s Team to a 3-4 (.429) dual meet record. Both teams earned AMCC runner-up finishes, while also breaking a combined 20 school records, and 7 AMCC conference records. Both Teams also were awarded CSCAA Scholar All-American Team titles for the Fall and Spring semesters. 

The Women’s Team led by AMCC Swimmer of the Year Madison Snayczuk had 13 AMCC First-Team event finishes, and an additional 8 AMCC Second-Team event finishes. They also won the most events at the Allegheny-Empire Championships with 8 overall titles. 

The Men’s Team led by AMCC Diver of the Year Conor Compton had 3 AMCC First-Team event finishes, and an additional 7 AMCC Second-Team event finishes. They also won a total of 3 Allegheny-Empire Championship events. Conor Compton went onto win the NCAA Region IV 3-Meter title, before ending his season at the NCAA Div. III Championships. He finished 3rd overall on the 1-Meter Board, while also finishing 5th overall on the 3-Meter Board bringing home 2 All-American titles. 

Prior to Alfred State, as Lancaster High School's Head Men's and Women's Coach, Healy had eight State Qualifiers. Two being State Conciliation Finalists, two State Finalists, and one three-time State Champion and All-American. His men's teams of the two seasons he was there both finished in the top twenty-five at the State Championship. Combined, his men and women broke nine school, and three Section VI records over three total seasons. 

Healy is an alumnus of Orchard Park High School, and SUNY Cortland, graduating with the class of 2018'. In college, swimming primarily as a sprint freestyler, he was a three year member of the SUNYAC Conference Team, and a Conciliation Finalist for the 200 Freestyle in 2016. Healy has obtained a New York State Professional Coaching Certification, and Physical Education degree.
