Alfred State College

Sean Carey joined the Pioneer staff as the Running Backs Coach for the 2025 season. Prior to joining the coaching staff, Carey was four-year member of the football team at Alfred State from 2021-2024. Carey started for the Pioneers during all four years and earned 1st Team All-Conference honors as a senior. Carey earned his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. The Buffalo, NY native played a critical role in Alfred State’s back-to-back conference championships and NCAA playoff appearances in 2023 and 2024. Carey is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute.
