Olean, NY- The Alfred State Softball team fell short this weekend in a double-header against conference opponent Mount Aloysius, 9-1 and 11-3. The Pioneers are now 8-12 overall and drop to 3-3 in conference play.
Â
Even though the Pioneers could not make today's double-header a true home game due to weather, Senior
Nicole Youngberg was honored and celebrated for Senior Day. Youngberg is a four-year Pio who has dedicated so much to the softball program. Congratulations, Nicole!

Â
Marissa Ordway started in the circle for the Pioneers, throwing 5 innings before

Trinity Scott went 2-3 with a triple and a stolen base.
Abbie Millard,
Nicole Youngberg and
Brianna Buscaglia all went 1-3.
Â

Â
Game 2:
Â
Sophia Petrie Started on the mound in game two, only throwing for a little over one inning while recording four strikeouts during that time.
