University Heights, OH- The Alfred State women's wrestling team tallied five place finishers at the John Carroll Open, with Dianna Pineda winning her bracket.

Dianna Pineda opened the day with a 49 second fall over Taelor Rae Busch (BC). She followed with a 3:46 fall over Madilyn Enterline (W&J). Then in the first-place match, Pineda secured a decision win over Molly Luebke (MU) to take first place.

Other place finishers were Brooke Walsh (138) took sixth place, Madi Cox (180) took sixth, Rowan Willis (117) took eighth, and Christina Paluzzi (138) took eighth.
