Alfred, NY- The Alfred State women's wrestling team finished third at the AMCC Individual Championship. Dianna Pineda won her weight class to be named AMCC Champion.

Dianna Pineda finished first in the 117 bracket. In her lone match of the day, he tallied a 2:43 fall over Hailey Hankinson. Also, in the 117-weight class, Kierra Willis took third place.

The Pioneers also had three other third place finishers, Brooke Walsh (131), Christina Paluzzi (138), and Madi Cox (180). After dropping her first match, Walsh tallied back-to-back falls to take third place. For Cox, she fell in her first match and responded with a 1:30 fall in the third-place match.

Emily Brown finished fourth in the 145 bracket, while Allison Strausbaugh took fifth in the 160-weight class.
