Bradford, PA- The Alfred State women's basketball team grabbed a road win tonight against the Pitt-Bradford Panthers, 70-50. With this win, the team sits with a 8-7 overall record, 3-3 in conference foes.

Taylor Benjamin led the way on both ends of the court as she tallied 17 points and eight rebounds on the night.
Emeline Barton followed suit with 15 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Alyssa Auer also contributed eight points while grabbing eight rebounds.

Alfred State jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, using strong defense and transition offense to pull ahead 24–14. Barton paced the Pioneers in the paint, while Benjamin anchored the defense with multiple blocks and steals that sparked fastbreak points. Despite a late push from Pitt-Bradford, the Pios closed the quarter on a strong note to carry a double-digit advantage. Alfred broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring the Panthers behind stifling defense and efficient shooting. The Pios entered the final period firmly in control, leading 62–35.
