ASC Places Sixth At SUNYAC Championships

Cortland, NY- The Alfred State women's track and field team slotted themselves a sixth place finish at the SUNYAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
 
Oli Kraynik took home first place in the 800m final as well as qualifying for the AARTFC's with an impressive finish time of 2:18.79.
 
Madison Snayczuk notched second place in the triple jump final with a best jump of 10.57 meters. She also took home fourth in the long jump final with a best of 5.05 meters.
 
Emily Richardson secured second place in the high jump final with a best jump of 1.57 meters.
 
In the 4x100 final, a team of Richardson, Snayczuk, Haley Beman and Charis Evans were just shy of qualifying for next weekend, taking home third place with a finish time of 50.80.
 
Janiesha Dureny also brought home a fourth-place title in the discus throw final with a best throw of 33.18 meters.
