Alfred,NY- The Alfred State Women's Lacrosse team lost momentum after halftime as they fell short to the La Roche Redhawks, 10-5. This puts the Pios record now at 3-8 on the season and 1-4 in conference play.

Karlee Hargather led ASC as she pressured the Redhawks, netting a hat-trick.
Alaina Kaczmarczyk and
Madison Le were also committed to aiding the Pios as they both notched their own goal.

La Roche hit the board first, slicing two goals all in the same minute in the beginning of the first period. Kaczmarczyk grabbed the first Pioneer goal of the game on a free position shot, 2-1. Hargather controlled the second period as she scored the lone two goals all while they held the Redhawks scoreless, 3-2.

After half, La Roche scored three goals allowing them to take the lead, 5-3. Hargather would then complete her hat-trick as she slated her 24
th goal of the season. The Redhawks continued to gather momentum as they found the net five times in the fourth period only allowing
Madison Le to secure a singular goal, 10-5.

ASC will take the field for their last conference game at Hilbert Thursday, start time set for 7 pm.
