Alfred, NY – The Pioneers were the reserve team in the morning and the hi-point team for the afternoon shows at the Bromeley -Daggett Equestrian Center on Saturday, March 1st.
Ashley Wolfe, Madeline Cassanova, Alexandra Hurd, and Abigail Hurd represented the blue and gold for the day. Wolfe was the hi-point rider, and Abigail Hurd was the reserve hi-point rider for the afternoon showing.  Wolfe earned 2nd for Horsemanship and Reining in the open division in the morning and afternoon shows. Cassanova earned 3rd in Horsemanship in the morning show. She brought it all home, placing 1st in the Rookie B division. Alexandra Hurd also placed 2nd in Horsemanship in both morning and afternoon shows for the open division. Abigail Hurd placed 3rd in Horsemanship in both shows but pulled through in the afternoon, earning 1st in Ranch Riding in the open division.
The Pioneers locked in for the afternoon show to dominate the competition. Hadley Amyot earned 1st for Horsemanship in the Beginner division. Jordan Henry earned 2nd in Horsemanship for the Level 1 division.
Congratulations to Hadley Amyot, Jordan Henry, Ashley Wolfe, and Abigail Hurd on qualifying for the Regionals. They will compete on March 8th at Alfred University.
