The Pioneers were the hi-point team for both morning and afternoon shows at IHSA show at Alfred University on Saturday, December 7th.  

Abigail Hurd (Belmont) and Alexandra Hurd (Belmont, NY) shined for the blue and gold. Alexandra Hurd placed first in both the AM and PM shows and Abigail Hurd as the Hi-Point Rider in the PM show. Also coming in third in the morning and second in the afternoon for Ranch Riding.  

In the morning show Keira Sulkey (Watkins Glen, NY) won level 1, with Emma Luckenbach (Bath, NY) coming in second.  Laura Mills (Greenwood, NY) came in first in beginners, and Alexandra Hurd came in first in level 2. Hurd also placed fourth and Ashley Wolfe (Painted Post, NY) was placed first in reining. Mackenzie Grosskopt (Niagara Falls, NY) placed third in Rookie A. Madeline Cassanova (Cicero, NY) placed second, Cassi Marucci (Clymer, NY) placed third in Rookie B along with Wolfe in open and Jordan Henry (Little Valley, NY) placed fourth in Rookie B.  

In the afternoon show, Marucci won at Rookie B to join Abigail and Alexandra Hurd in first place.  Wolfe was second in Open, Henry was second in Rookie B, and the trio of Cassanova, Grosskopt, and Sulkey all earned third.
