Alfred NY, - Pioneers fall short in conference match-up against Panthers . Alfred State moves to 3-19 on the season and 2-11 in conference play. 

Four Pios scored in double figures for Alfred State with Michael Miller leading the way with his first career triple double recording 15 points 13 rebounds and 10 assists, following was Dylan Perry tallied his career-high with 27 points, next is Darius Cunningham Jr scoring 10 of his own for the Pioneers, while Jacob Gonzalez added 10 of his own.  

In the first half, Pioneers started hot scoring the first five points with a Miller layup then Perry knocked down a three-pointer of his own assisted by Mason Putnam. The Panthers then gained momentum and took the lead from the pioneers and kept the lead for most of the first half. After some back and forth action, Alfred State began to crawl back, tying the game at 44 with 2:58 left to go. With 37 seconds left in the first half, the Pios went into halftime leading by three after a Perry three-pointer and a Miller fast break layup, 55-52.  

At the start of the second half, Alfred kept momentum scoring an and one right out the gates to take a six-point lead. After some back and forth action Pioneers gain the lead again after trailing by two with a Perry three-pointer to put the Pioneers up by one with 16 minutes left to go in the second half. Alfred continued to battle with the Panthers but were unable to gain the lead as they fell 108-84. 

The Pioneers are on the road February 15th to face Penn State Altoona, tip-off is set for 1pm.
