Erie, NY- The Alfred State Men's Swim and Dive team swam hard against the Penn State Behrend Lions and the Wheeling University Cardinals but were unable to bring home wins.

To start off the day,
Parker Brod,
Riley Hoyt,
Dominic Mintz and
Derek Mrachko notched a second-place title in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:42.21. In the 200-freestyle relay, Brod, Hoyt,
Fred Ginder and
Owen Baker finished in third place with a time of 1:29.85.

Hoyt notched first place in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:17.61. He also came in third place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:01.11.

Mintz placed first in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:08.29 and also came in fifth place in both the 100 and 200 butterfly with respective times of 57.82 and 2:09.32.

In the 200 freestyle, Ginder notched himself a second place title with a time of 1:51.65. In the 50 and 100 freestyle, he placed third with respective times of 22.74 and 49.30.

In the 200 IM, Mrachko finished in third place with a time of 2:08.35. In the 200 breaststroke, he came in fourth place with a time of 2:24.89 and came in fifth place in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.97.

In the 100 freestyle and backstroke, Brod notched fourth place with respective times of 50.04 and 58.08.

Baker notched fourth place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.85.
Dillon Madigan came in fifth place in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:08.25.

For Diving,
Conor Compton placed first in the 1 and 3 meter dive with respective scores of 303.65 and 336.25.
Bryan Reichart placed second in the same dives with respective scores of 220.50 and 224.40.
