alAlfred, NY - The Alfred State men's diving program saw
Conor Compton garner 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic First-Team All-American honors as announced on Wednesday by the CSC National office.
Conor Compton (Rexford, NY, Niskayuna) is a four-year diver that has created a name for himself in Alfred State history. He is an eight-time Conference Champion, seven-time First-Team All-American and one time Second-Team All-American. Conor has been a four-time Diver of the Year throughout his career. He has broken Alfred State's one-meter and three-meter diving records, as well as RPI, Fredonia and Nazareth Pool Records. In his last season, he was honored with the James Fulton Award at the SUNYAC Championships. Conor finished his career with two second place finishes in the one and three-meter boards at the NCAA Championships. He will be graduating in May with a degree in Construction Supervision.
The eight-member Division III first team had an average GPA of 3.91. A total of five student-athletes on the three teams had 4.00 GPAs.
The Division III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division III Academic All-America® program.
