Rochester, NY – The Alfred State women's track and field team opened their season at the Nazareth Early Season Invite.
Oli Kraynik broke a school record and qualified for the AARTFC in the 400 meters, placing fourth with a time of 59.19.
In the 4x200 relay, the team of Alysha Calvo,
Keira Crahan,
Emily Richardson, and Nichole Leitten finished fifth with a time of 1:53.23.
In the women's high jump, Richardson made school history, clearing 1.63 meters to claim first place.
In the throws,
Janiesha Dureny earned an eighth-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 11.12 meters, while Lily Rafferty recorded a 12.89 in the weight throw.
The Pioneers will head to Selinsgrove, PA next for the Susquehanna Invite on Saturday, January 17th.
