Alfred, NY- This week's Pioneer Athletes of the Week are Christian Wescott (Men's Cross-Country) and Oli Kraynik (Women's Cross-Country).
 

Christian Wescott (Henrietta, NY, Rush-Henrietta) was the first to cross the line at the 2025 AMCC Championship. He finished with a time of 28:11.0, which secured him the AMCC Men's Cross-Country Individual Champion title and All-Conference honors. This win marked his career best finish as he finished second at last season's AMCC Championship . 

Oli Kraynik (Rush, NY, Honeoye-Falls Lima) continued her run on impressive outings this season as she was the first Pioneer to cross the line at the 2025 AMCC Championships. She crossed the line in 26:10.5 to take third-place and earn All-Conference honors. This ties her career best finish as she finished third at last season's AMCC Championship
