Alfred, NY- This week's Pioneer Athletes of the Week are Darius Cunningham Jr. (Men's Basketball) and Jordan Niles (Women's Basketball).
 

Darius Cunningham Jr (Navarre, FL, Navarre) led the Pioneers offense last week, as he averaged 19.3 points per game and 7.0 rebounds. He also tallied in 3.3 assists per game. Cunningham Jr opened the week with a 10 point game against Cobleskill. He followed with a 27 point 13 rebound double-double game against Houghton. He would end the week with a 21 point game against Juniata.

 

Jordan Niles (Brewster, NY, Brewster) helped lead the Pioneers to a 1-1 week as she averaged 11.5 points per game, 6.5 rebounds per game, and 4.0 steals per game, while shooting 45% from the field. She opened with nine points, six rebounds, and two steals against Thiel. She followed with 14 points, seven rebounds, and six steals against Bard.
