Houghton, NY – The Alfred State women's cross-country team finished 15^th out of 17 in the Highlander invitational. Two runners placed top 100 for Alfred.

Oli Kraynik was the first to cross the line as she placed 57^th with a time of 24:16.6. Hailey Kumpf followed with a time of 25:14.9 for an 81^st place finish.

Ashlen Rossi registered 144^th with a time of 26:48.2 while Caity Strecker followed in 156^th with a 27:57.8 time. Karah Blackwell rounded out the line in 182^nd place for a time of 33:45.8.

ASC will participate in the Canisius Alumni Classic next on October 18^th.
