Delhi, NY- The Alfred State Volleyball pushed their win streak to three after sweeping SUNY Delhi 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-16). ASC moves to 3-1 on the season.
The Pioneers picked backup where they left off last weekend. After a back-and-forth start to the first set, ASC would tie the set at 13-13 after a Caitlyn Gilman kill. This sparked a 12-2 run to take the opening set. That run featured kills Erin Gregoire and Alayna Tomlinson, along with a Caley Larsen ace.
The Broncos answered in the early part of set two, to take a 23-19 into the late stages of the set. The Pios raddled off six straight points to win the set. On that run, both Nayomie Ferrer and Gregoire notched two kills each.
The Pioneers was able to carry that momentum into the third set to get the win. The Pios return to action tomorrow as they take on Muhlenberg at noon and Keuka at 2 pm.
