Alfred, NY- The Alfred State Men's Soccer team suffered a hard-fought loss against the Clarkson Golden Knights today 1-0. This is the Pioneers second loss of the season, putting them at 4-2.

Both teams took the field with determination, battling back and forth in the first half. Neither team could find the back of the net, having everyone on the edge of their seat. Unfortunately, the Golden Knights were able to beat the Pios defense and find the net first in the 55^th minute, putting them up 1-0.

ASC did not surrender, as they continued to take shots, hoping one would find the back of the net. The Pios fought hard but to no eval as the final score was 1-0 for the Golden Knights.

The Men's Soccer team is back on their home turf, Wednesday against SUNY Geneseo, kick off set for 6pm.
