Pioneers Opened With Two Top-30 Finishes

Rochester, NY- The Alfred State Women's Cross-Country team opened their season with two top 30 finishes at the Fisher-Rodenbeck Invite.

Oli Kraynik was the first pioneer across the finish line for Alfred State as she finished in 16:42.9 to take 25th place. Hailey Kumpf was five runners behind Kraynik, finishing in 16:50.8, coming in 30th place.

The next Pioneer to finish was Ava Sylvester in 74th place with a time of 18:29.8, then Olivia Plummer finished with a time of 18:58.6 for 85th place. The last Pio to cross was Caitlyn Strecker in a time of 21:33.2 for 114th place.

Alfred State will be back in Rochester next week for a race at Brockport.
