Rochester, NY- The Alfred State Men's Cross-Country team opens the season with two top 50 finishes at the Fisher-Rodenbeck Invite. 

Christian Wescott was the first Pioneer across the line as he finished in 21:06.4 to take 40th place. Maxwell Knight was right behind him to take 41st place with a time of 21:06.7.  

The next finisher was Andrew Zielinski in 103rd with a time of 23:58.6, then Grayson Montague finished with a time of 25:24.1 for 111th. The final Pioneer to cross was Christian Spreizer in a time of 29:16.2 for 118th place.  

Alfred State will be back in Rochester next week for a race at Brockport.
