York, PA- The Alfred State Men's Wrestling team placed 15^th at the New Standard Invite this weekend.
 
Caleb Plunkett made it into today's 184 round after taking a big win against Cody Freer (Marymount) yesterday. Plunkett was unable to surpass Kyle Gora (New England) in today's round as he fell by fall.
 
Also alive in today's Invite was Jayden Norris, who was able to notch a 17-10 decision win over Matt Copeland (Ursinus) yesterday to bring him into today's 149 round. Norris also was unable to take home a win as he fell to Luke Montefusco (JWO) in 4:06.
 
The Pios will be back next weekend on their home mat to take on Pitt-Bradford and SUNY Brockport at 12 and 2 pm.
