Alfred, NY- The Alfred State Men's Swim and Dive team took a huge win on their senior day against Fredonia, 177-45.

To start off the day, in the 200 freestyle relay, a team of
Parker Brod,
Derek Mrachko,
Owen Baker and Alex Mayen took 1
st place with a time of 1:33.07. The team of
Fred Ginder,
Riley Hoyt,
Dominic Mintz and
Dillon Madigan came in second place with a time of 1:34.40. In the 400 medley relay, the team of Brod, Baker, Ginder and
Daniel Baroz took first place with a time of 4:09.31. Coming in second place was the team of Mrachko, Hoyt, Mayen and
Alex Marthia with a time of 4:14.12.

Mrachko took first place in both the 100 butterfly and 100 IM with respective times of 59.54 and 58.89. Hoyt also came in first place in both the 50 breaststroke and the 500 freestyle with respective times of 28.83 and 5:16.65.

Brod touched the wall first in the 50 freestyle and in the 50 butterfly with respective times of 23:16 and 24.75.

Madigan came in second place in the 50 breaststroke and the 500 freestyle with respective times of 30.87 and 5:40.74. He also came in fourth place in the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.00.

Ginder touched the wall second in the 50 butterfly with a time of 24.93, right behind Brod. He also finished third in the 50 backstroke with a time of 31.55.

Mayen finished second in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.81 and came in third in the 100 freestyle with a time of 55.79.

To finish off the day, Bryan Reichert came in second place in the 1-meter and 3-meter dive with respective scores of 218.30 and 196.95.
