York, PA- The Alfred State men's wrestling team has two wrestlers advancing to day two of the 15th Annual New Standard Invitational.

Caleb Plunkett is still alive in the blood rounds of the 184 bracket. After a first-round bye, he would suffer a loss in the second round. Plunkett turned around and picked up a 1:27 fall win over Cody Freer (Marymount). Plunkett will now take on Kyle Gora (New England) in his first match tomorrow.

Also alive in the blood rounds is Jayden Norris in the 149 bracket. After a bye, Norris notched a second-round fall over Cristian Cruz (Ithaca). Following a loss, he would tally a 17-10 decision win over Matt Copeland (Ursinus) to move on to day two. Tomorrow he will start his day with a match against Luke Montefusco (JWU).

Day two of the Invite will start at 10 am.
