Hiram, OH- The Alfred State Women's Wrestling team had second and third place holders in the 207-weight class at the Terrier Round Robin Invite this Sunday.

Aleesha Marshall placed second in the 207 class. She first fell to Emma Lavalle (York College) in which she took on her own teammate
Hannah Grawn (Alfred State) and won by a fall in 1:11.

Grawn garnered herself the third-place title after falling to Lavalle and Marshall.

Anna Sheahan placed fourth in the 131 after she fell to Kendya Pierre-Louis (Indiana Tech).
Â
Ethe Hemphill also placed fourth but in the 145-weight class, as she fell to Rilee Swaim (Manchester).

Allison Strausbaugh placed fourth as well, in the 160. Strausbaugh first took a fall to Allydia Byard (Hiram), to which she earned herself a win by fall in the second round against Claire Bennett (Manchester). She would then go on to lose again by fall and pick up another win by fall over Tessa Allen (Manchester) in the fourth round.

Dianna Pineda placed seventh in the 124-weight class after she took a win over Jaelyn Collins (Hiram) in the seventh-place match.

Brooke Walsh also took home seventh place, but in the 138 as she won by fall over
Emily Brown (Alfred State). Brown took home eighth place in the 138.

The Pioneers are back on the mat on January 7
th, at Alvernia University.
