Ithaca, NY- The Alfred State men's wrestling team finished seventh at the Ithaca Invite, as Brent Perry was the highest place finisher after taking fifth in the 197 bracket.
Perry got his day started with a 7-2 decision win over Andrew Filip (Castleton), to advance to the semifinals. After suffering two losses, Perry found himself in the 5th place match, where he won by a medical forfeit.
Mason Drew picked up two first round falls before falling off the bracket. Benjamin Rivera also picked up a fall victory before falling off the bracket.
The Pioneers will be back on the road on November 9th as they head to Washington, PA to wrestle at the Washinton and Jefferson Invite.
