Alfred, NY- The Alfred State Football team heads to the NCAA Football Tournament for the second year in a row, as of this Sunday evening.
 
The Pios finished the 2024 season with a 5-5 overall record and a 2-1 conference record, in which they beat Anna Maria yesterday to secure the ECFC title and earn an automatic qualifying big to the tournament.
 
ASC averaged 314.2 yards per game and 19.80 points per game. The Pios offense is led by Nicholas Cuomo with eight touchdowns this season, Noah Currier right behind him with six touchdowns.
 
Silas Egenlauf led the Pioneers defense with 112 total tackles. In those 112 tackles, he had 13 tackles for a loss and 2 interceptions. Chris Bergman also tallied 6 interceptions and 47 tackles.
 
ASC will travel to Beverly, MA to take on the Endicott Gulls this Saturday, November 23^rd at 12 pm.
