Alfred NY- Alfred State men's swimming and dive team fell to Brockport 131-102 and to Alfred University 170-67.

Conor Compton won two events. First on the 1-meter board for the Pioneers, ending with a score of 305.25. Secondly, he dove for a score of 328.05 on the 3-meter board. 

Dillon Madigan placed second in the 1000-yard free with a time of 11:24.69. Fred Ginder followed with a fifth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, Ginder had a time of 1:56.42.

In the 50-yard freestyle two swimmers for the Pios came in top 5. Parker Brod touched the wall in 23.23 for third and Owen Baker finished with a time of 25.53.

Dominic Mintz chipped in with a third place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 58.47.

Ginder and Brod in their second event took the fourth and fifth spot respectively for the 100-yard freestyle for the Pioneers.

Pioneers head to Cortland to swim against the Red Dragons Saturday, November 2 at 1pm.
