The Alfred State women's cross country team began their season today at Houghton, on the Highlander Short Course. The Blue and Gold ran the 3k all within 1 minute of eachother.

Isabelle Popoff led the pack with a time of 11:44.16. Popoff finished in 29th place overall.

Molly Kraynik finished behind her with a time of 12:13.24. She finished in 53rd place.

Olivia Plummer finished 60th overall with a time of 12:29.69.

Hailey Kumpf finished in 12:33.91, good enough for 62 place.

The Pioneers are back in action on Saturday, September 16 at the Yellow Jacket Invite in Rochester.
