The Alfred State Pioneers played their final game of the season and lost to LaRoche 81-70. Before tip-off the Pioneers honored five seniors. Jason Guillen, Brandan Gosley, Ryan Rosa, Isaiah Kostyal-Larrier, and Gus O'Connell. All five seniors were in the starting lineup in their last game for the Pioneers

In the first half, the Pioneers kept the game close. Alfred State stayed within a possession and even took a 16-11 lead with less than nine minutes left in the half. LaRoche answered with a scoring run to take a 38-29 lead into halftime. The Pioneers never regained the lead, with multiple scoring runs and comeback efforts falling short. The second half have a lot of scoring, with both teams above 40 points in the 20 minutes.

Some standouts for the Pioneers include:

Ryan Rosa: Rosa tallied 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in his last game as a Pioneer. Rosa shot 7-9 from the field and 2-4 from deep. 

Paris Jamison: Jamison had a team high 19 points on 50% shooting from the field. Jamison went 5-6 from the stripe and also tallied 3 steals. 

The Pioneers finish their season 7-18 overall and 3-11 in AMCC competition.
