Pittsburgh, PA- The Pioneers tally their second tie of the season against AMCC opponent Carlow. The Pioneers move to 3-6-2 on the season.

Kate Spoul had a great game in goal, totaling nine saves. The Pioneers were aggressive on offense with 11 shots on goal. Jena Schelble had five shots on goal, while Madigan Harris tallied three shots on goal.

Alfred State was aggressive early, tallying three of the first four shots of the game in the opening five minutes. Alfred stayed on the attack, but the Carlow goalie was up for the task saving all six shots on goal.

Late in the game with the score nodded at 0-0, Spoul tallied three late saves to keep the Celtics off the board and got the tie.
