Erie, PA- A slow start by the Pioneers sees the Lions take the 8-1 victory. Jena Schelble tallied her fifth goal of the season as the Pioneers fell to 3-7-2 on the season.

Kate Sproul would get credit for the loss, but she tallied four saves on the night.

The Lions would jump out to a 6-0 in the first period. Behrend tallied one more goal in the second period, before the Pioneers found the back of the net. In the 72^nd minute, Schelble would score the Pio's lone goal to cut the deficit to 7-1.

From there the Lions scored another goal to secure the win.
