The Alfred State Men's Soccer team won today 8-0. The Pioneers offense put together 28 shots, eight of them found their way to the back of the net. Alfred State put 7 in the net in the first half, with the last of the goals coming in the 78 minute.

Goalkeepers Thaddeus Grierson (Perry, N.Y. / Perry) and Kasey Gilbert (Dansville, N.Y. / Lima Christian) each putting together a shutout half.

The Pioneers are back in action Saturday, October 1 at home. They face Penn St.- Altoona in the first conference match of the year.
