The Alfred State Women's Soccer team played to a draw against Medaille 1-1.

Coming off back-to-back wins, the Pioneer team had another steady offensive attack. They outshot the Medaille Mavericks 21-4. Alfred State also put 8 of their shots on goal. 

Shot leader Allison Lundmark (Lakewood, N.Y. / Southwestern) took four shots of her own, putting one of them on goal. Jena Schelble (Boston, N.Y. / Springville) took three shots, one of them being the lone goal for the Pioneers in the 82 minute to give them the lead. The Mavericks came back quick though, with a goal of their own in the 86 minute, ending the game in a tie.

The Pioneers are playing again this Wednesday, September 27 at home against Lycoming.
