David Benson (Clifton Park/Shenendowa) scored the lone goal for Alfred State as the Pioneers wrapped up the 2019 season at D'Youville. Benson tied the game in the 1st but the Spartans scored four unanswered in the 2nd en route to a 5-1 victory.

The Spartans got on the board in the 17th minute to take the lead. Benson tied it 37:09 into the game when first of the season. The Spartans held a 8-4 shot advantage in the half as the team's went into the break knotted up at 1-1.

D'Youville scored the game-winner in the 49th minute and added insurance goals in the 60th, 74th, and 89th minute.

The Spartans finished the day with a 18-13 shot advantage.
