The Alfred State volleyball team used a total team effort as they swept SUNY Delhi 25-14, 25-10, 25-22 on Friday evening. The Pioneers hit .333 on the night and collected 17 service aces to earn their seventh victory of the season.

Sarah Raichlin (Binghamton/Chenango Valley) had a big night with 20 assists and seven service aces. Bryanna Godfrey (Tioga) added 14 kills and seven digs, Madison Webster (Corning) had a team high 14 digs, and Kiara Perkins (Coudersport, PA) chipped in eight kills. Alyssa Martin (Portville) had six kills while Samantha Tumolo (Manorville/Eastport South Manor) contributed 10 assists.

The Pioneers connected on 33 kills on the night on 66 attempts. The team hit .471 in the 1st set, .318 in the 2nd, and .259 in the 3rd.

Kristen Maslanka led the Broncos with five kills and nine digs.

The Pioneers are right back in action on Saturday with a pair of games at SUNY Cobleskill. They take on the Tigers at 2 p.m. and Wells College at 4 p.m.
