After a scoreless 1st half, the Alfred State women's soccer team exploded with three goals in the first 13 minutes of the 2nd half en route to a 3-0 victory. The Pioneers who have won four straight, now have held their opponents without a goal in 401.36.

Julia Yanarella (Wappingers Falls/Roy Ketcham) scored just 24 seconds into the 2nd half after getting a long pass from Kylie Newman (Waverly). Dannielle O'Buckley (Jamaica/Ansbach) scored five minutes later after getting a headed pass from Melissa Mineti (Livonia). Chloe Cox (Tuscon, AZ) started the play with a long pass that found Mineti. Seven minutes later Mineti added an insurance goal seven minutes later after getting a long crossing pass from O'Buckley. 

The Pioneers outshot the Mavericks 27 to 2. Allison Danielak (Brockport) recorded another shutout with one save. Deejah Burgess made 27 saves for Medaille.

The blue & gold hit the road on Saturday for a 3:30 p.m. ACAA showdown with SUNY Canton.
