The Alfred State women's soccer team shutout Elmira College 2-0 on Tuesday to wrap up the regular season. The Lady Pioneers head into the postseason with a 8-7 record.

Julia Yanarella (Roy Ketcham) got the Lady Pioneers on the board 14:56 into the game after getting a pass from Brooke Geibel (Arkport). 

Geibel added an insurance goal in the 73rd minute after getting a pass from Dannielle O'Buckley (Queens/Ansbach).

Elmira held a 17 to 16 shot advantage. Allison Danielak (Brockport) made 10 saves, eight in the 1st half, to record her 4th shutout of the season.

The Lady Pioneers will await the seeding for the USCAA Championships. The seedings will be announced on November 1st. The blue & gold are hoping to make their 4th straight trip to the championships.
