SUNY Canton connected on 11 three-pointers as they defeated Alfred State 87-77 on Wednesday evening. The Kangaroos improve to 11-2 on the season.

Canton connected on 5 three-pointers and hit all 12 of their foul shots as they raced to a 47-31 lead at the half. The Kangaroos led by as 23 in the 2nd half but the Pioneers tried to put together a late rally. Alfred State cut the lead to nine multiple times but could not get any closer. The blue & gold outscored Canton 46-40 in the 2nd half.

Justin Wallace (Mt. St. Michael) led the blue & gold with 15 points. Dondre Davis (Brooklyn/William Grady) and Marvin Cyrus (Washington DC) both came off the bench and scored 12 and Dante Jordan (New York/Law and Public Service) chipped in 10.

Sam Annorh led the Roos with 22 points and eight assists while Vanallen Pickett came off the bench and finished with 19. Walt Jeter added 17 and Romario Fletcher finished with 12. 

The Pioneers shot 40.7% from the field, hit 3 of 15 three point attempts, and was 8 for 15 from the foul line. Canton shot 42% from the floor, was 11 of 24 from three, and hit 18 of 23 foul shots.
